Many thanks if you have recently placed an order for Earth Dough! I will be dispatching all orders very soon (depending on your location) so that they arrive before Christmas. If you selected ‘Delivery Now’, your package will be sent within a few days.
I would like to advise that I have recently made some changes to my packaging and ingredients. I have added a layer of cello film above the dough to preserve it during transit.
This means I am no longer able to apply the floral stamp imprint that you would have seen in photos on my website. Instead, I have included a small circular card that explains the use of the cello layer, and includes a code for a 10% discount on future orders.
Changes to the ingredients are very small and include an increase in salt content, and adding ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) which is a natural antioxidant.
Because I have been so busy making improvements, I haven’t yet been able to organise photos of the new packaging. The dough looks, feels and smells the same, it will just be missing the floral imprint!
The reason for my sudden packaging and ingredient change is that I have recently had a few issues with spoilage due to customers storing it unrefrigerated in the lead up to Christmas. Please note that Earth Dough should be stored in the refrigerator, as it contains no preservatives. There have been no reports of issues with dough that has been refrigerated.
I have conducted tests at home and have found no issue with Earth Dough left out of the refrigerator for 7 days, so it will be fine during transit to you, as I keep it refrigerated until the night before dispatch.
